Early player registration for the CVSC Fall 2012 season is now open.

All CVSC player registrations for 2012 will be completed by utilizing an On-Line registration process requiring a credit or debit card.  If you do not have a credit or debit card please contact the CVSC Office at 510-537-2902 for alternative registration information.

CVSC will hold a Competitive Program Meeting for U15-U19 players and parents on Monday, May 14th at Canyon Middle School in the cafeteria from 8:00pm - 9:30pm

The Castro Valley Soccer Club will hold its first Casino Night Fundraiser on Saturday, May 19 from 7:00 to 11:00PM at Transfiguration Church Hall.  Your event ticket includes dinner, gaming chips and the chance to play Blackjack, Craps, Poker and Roulette.  Everyone who purchases a ticket will have a chance to win our top prize: a trip to Las Vegas!

As try-outs are completed we would like to thank you all for trying out with Castro Valley Soccer Club’s Competitive program.

During the try-out sessions, each child was given a unique try-out number. This is how players will be first notified that they have made one of our competitive teams.

The Bay Area soccer community (including the Cal and Stanford’s women’s soccer teams) banded together last weekend to help a fellow soccer player in need.  Brianne "Breezy" Bocheneck, a fourth grader, who played for the Tri-Valley Soccer Club, was diagnosed osteosarcoma (a form of bone cancer) and as a result had her left leg amputed.

Wonder about that call?  Wonder about that Law (no rules in soccer, all laws!)?  What do the hand and flags signals mean, and what the heck is "offside?"  Tired of jogging for your health with no particular destination, or just want to contribute to local soccer "calling ’em straight?  Now’s the time.

On Friday, January 13, the San Jose Earthquakes and Wells Fargo traveled to Five Canyons Park and presented Castro Valley Soccer Club a $2,000 check on behalf of the Wells Fargo Goals For Education Program. The grant will be used to help purchase new goals for CVSC after vandals caused $10,000 worth of damage to their equipment last year.
