1. What do I have to do in order to be considered for a CVSC Division 1 or 3 team?
To be considered for placement on a CVSC Division 1 or 3 team, a player must attend the CVSC tryout sessions for their age group. Players should attend a minimum of two tryouts but are strongly encouraged to attend all tryouts in order to maximize their opportunity to display their abilities.
2. Who will organize the Tryouts?
Club tryouts are organized by 24-7 UK Soccer Academy (24-7 USA), a professional sports organization offering training sessions that help players reach their full potential. 3. Where are the Tryouts?

4. What days and times should I tryout?

5. Should I arrive early?
Players should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of their scheduled start time so they can check-in, receive their numbered scrimmage vest and warm up. Players need to bring appropriate soccer gear including soccer footwear, shinguards and plenty of water/sport beverages to drink. CVSC will provide adidas soccer balls for tryouts so players can leave their soccer balls at home.
6. How will I be notified if I make the team?
Upon completion of tryouts, player selection and team assignment will be available (by Bib number) on CVSC’s web site at this website. See the home page for the appropriate link. Players will also receive a follow-up telephone call from the team’s head coach confirming acceptance of the invitation to play for CVSC. Players and their families will also receive an e-mail with a link allowing them to register in CVSC’s Competitive Program for 2008-09 season.
7. Is there anything I can do to prepare for the Tryouts?
CVSC will hold FREE pre-tryout training clinics for players interested in the Club’s Division 1 and Division 3 program. Players will experience drills and small-sided games that will be used during the tryouts in March. All clinics are held at Stonebrae Elementary School, Hayward, CA. CLICK HERE for more information.
