Congratulations to the CV D1 teams for a very successful tournament weekend. We entered 10 D1 teams and came away with 4 championship trophies. That is the most champions for any one Club in this tournament.

In the Girls, we had:

U10 – coached by Jerry
U12 – coached by Mark
U13 – coached by Andy

In the Boys group, we had:

U13 – coached by Rob.

In addition we had our U17 Girls – Joe Santos,  reach the consolation game and ended up with a 4th place.

Also, at the San Ramon Valley Cup, our U9 boys, coached by David Barrett brought home the champions trophy.

I had the pleasure of seeing most all the teams play and am very proud of the success of our first tournament(s) of the season.   Well done to all the coaches for leading our teams and to the work rate and effort of our players. Now please, let the rest of the CV membership enjoy your victory by getting our communications director pictures of the teams and medals. I would like these up on our website…asap.

Again, thanks to 24/7 and their staff for a great weekend of soccer,

AJ
