Our Story

The Association Football Club (AFC) was founded by three longstanding clubs, Castro Valley, Clippers, and Piedmont in 2017 aiming to create a highly competitive U13-U19 youth soccer platform competing at the highest levels. AFC’s goal is to provide players with the best environment, coaching, and programs to enable them to reach their full potential of playing in college and beyond. Today, recreational and U8-U12 competitive programs are operated under each of the founding clubs (CVSC, CFC, PSC) with competitive players from these three feeder clubs progressing to AFC at the U13 age group. To ensure consistency and alignment to AFC standards, all four clubs share the same coaching staff and player development philosophy. Collectively, the AFC family of clubs has nearly 4,300 players making it one of the largest youth soccer clubs in the Bay Area.

Develop skilled and highly motivated players who can perform in teams with a clearly defined style of playing.
