COSTS & FEES

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE?

The cost will vary depending upon the team's age group and level. You can expect your child’s cost to be anywhere from approximately $1,200 for U8, $2,500 for a U9/U10 team, to $3,200 for the year for a U11-U12 team. This includes Club player registration fees, professional coach fees, tournament entry fees and other miscellaneous costs. A team budget for the season will be presented at your team’s first meeting with player registration and program fee information available on the CVSC website at time of tryouts.

CVSC has payment options available including credit card payment plans. You do not need to pay the entire amount up front unless you choose to do so. You may also use fundraising or sponsorships to help offset your child’s cost to participate in the program. CVSC will also have a limited number of financial aid opportunities for those players and families demonstrating a financial need and commitment to soccer and CVSC.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM COSTS

Castro Valley Soccer Club prides itself on being able to deliver the highest soccer experience for the lowest possible cost. Compared to other clubs in the area, our costs are lower while offering greater programming to our players.

HOW DO WE STACK UP?

MONTHLY PAYMENTS

Training costs for our U8 program will be made over 6 months with the 1st payment being made in July. Training costs for U8's playing up, U9/U10's and U11/U12's will be made over 8 months (July-November and January-March) starting in July. Each payment will be made using a debit/credit card that you initially register with. If you would like to change the card that you use after you register, then that is possible but please again contact our club registrar to make that change.

DELINQUENT PAYMENTS POLICY FOR REGISTRATION

Any CVSC family/player who has fallen behind in making their monthly payment plan payments by greater than 2 months will not be allowed to participate in practices, games or any club events until they have paid the amount they owe to-date.

This policy supersedes all other refund policy references or statements published.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM REFUND POLICY

The competitive program has a stringent refund policy because a player’s acceptance has the effect of denying another player an opportunity to play on a competitive team. Additionally, costs accrue to the Club for services provided to the team based on player headcount. Accordingly, fees are not refundable and not transferable. Fees for participation in the club cover the entire soccer year. A player who accepts an invitation to play with the Club commits to pay the entire fee for the full soccer year. No refunds, partial or full, will be made to players who choose not to participate at any point after registration for any reason, including players suspended from the program. The only exceptions are (1) In the event that a player has a season ending injury, the board may consider a partial refund after review of records provided by the treating physician or facility and (2) For families that move during the season (>50 miles). The board may consider a partial refund in these circumstances on a case by case basis.
